The annual conference of the Royal Economic Society (RES) took place on July 6 to July 8 at Newcastle University. Laszlo Goerke presented a paper on "Mandatory Profit-sharing in a Unionised Oligopoly with Endogenous Market Structure" that builds on earlier research on related issues with former colleagues at the IAAEU. The annual conference was a great event, with inspiring keynotes and many fascinating presentations in the general sessions.
